Regional business centres

The sector Business Centres is responsible for the operation of three business centres in the Brainport region that offer smaller companies qualitatively good and representative accommodation along with a broad package of facilities and supplementary services in respect of advice and funding. The aim is to increase the number, quality and success rate of new and small business enterprises in the region. Newer companies can stay for a number of years and, when they expand, move on to more suitable premises elsewhere in the region. The business centres thus serve as a permanent breeding ground for new companies with growth potential and help to contribute to employment prospects as well as to the innovation capacity in the industry and service sectors.

Concept development

In addition to operating its own centres, Brainport Development develops innovative concepts for centres (incubators) for new entrepreneurs and small-scale businesses, normally on the basis of public-private partnership. Brainport Development also performs market surveys and feasibility studies as well as advises municipal authorities and private parties on the development of new initiatives.
